Aleksandr Voinov – Letters from the Front: Red wire / green wire – choose wisely

Okay, so this is my first re-blog, so I hope I’m doing it right. If not, I’m so sorry, Aleks…

The blog above is an important view of M/M authors and readers. We’re not all women, we’re not all straight, and the target audience isn’t women because we’re writing for women, it’s women because women read. Period.

I’ve been reading Aleksandr Voinov for about two years now. Another Absolute Writer, LA Witt, started writing the Market Garden series with him, and it is awesome if you’re into novellas, scorching hot sex, occasional BDSM, and don’t mind rent boys as main characters. After the first Market Garden, I read all of the Dark Soul books. And of course, the Mouse books (Country Mouse, City Mouse) with Amy Lane. Then I read Return on Investment. 

I still have a long way to go to read everything Aleks has written, but Return on Investment stayed with me. I especially liked the friendship between the main character and his personal trainer. This was the first book I’ve read where the gay main character interacted with a trans character. They don’t have a relationship, but they do become good friends, which I think is more important.
