In Dreams

My recurring dreams are changing, and it's unsettling.

First, my dream of visiting my grandmother's house turned into an urban fantasy story idea Wednesday night. My young adult dream character would be offended with the age change and romance subplot I've added while awake. Granted, he was more interested in getting out of the strange situation in the dream. Awake me: Boom - smexy times!

Last night, my recurring dream of a college campus turned into Hogwarts, except the moving staircases were disturbing rope bridges. After surviving the trek to the main floor, I found my bestie in the library, a huge improvement over my college experience.

I don't usually dream during the week. Thanks, hot flashes. I guess perimenopause is good for something, if it gives me story ideas. What were your weird dreams this week?
