Love Me
I’ve seen too many horror stories on the internet lately. Too many Girl Power, Trump Power, or Pick-a-Color Power stump speeches.

It’s overwhelming, and it’s all so much bullshit. Any one of our friends could die tomorrow. We would think back to the last social media argument we had with our dead friend, and feel terrible.

Every once in awhile, I like to take the time to say I love you all. I love you so much. All of you. The ones who read every post because you’re waiting for the train wreck, or occasional check-ins from my future publishers, or those one-timers who stumble onto my blog on the interwebz. (I’m not even sure how that works, exactly, but I’m glad you’re here. *Waves to Poland!*)

None of us plan on dying tomorrow (I need to live forever if I’m going to retire and live my dream). If I did, I would die happy, knowing that I’ve made a connection with you. Oh, you hate me, you say? Doesn’t matter. You’re still here, reading this. Love me or hate me, you’re still thinking of me.

I love you, too.

This last one is for my bestie, who may or may not read every week. I understand. I’m a little much twice a week, even for my very best friend. I know this saying rings true for us, even if we don’t always show it.

I’ve had many hard goodbyes in my life. Let’s keep saying hello, okay? Every Tuesday and Saturday. Come back, I’ll share more memes.
Love, Edie
