Monarch Migration
When walking along our neighbor’s fence, I noticed some leaves fluttering on a tree I thought was dead. Yep, the tree is still dead. The “leaves” were resting monarch butterflies. As I approached, they took to the air in an orange wave of majesty. That’s one nice thing about having a dog: If I didn’t walk him around the yard daily, I would have missed this. I also would have avoided at least ten mosquito bites.

I’m still rewriting. I hope to submit the novel I’m rewriting before the end of the year, so I have my work cut out for me.
I’m also still waiting to hear back on a couple of submissions. The hardest part of this job is the waiting.
What are you waiting on?
