One-upmanship

I love you all, but please stop trying to one-up each other with tales of woe. If I read in one post about someone’s child in the NICU, and then scroll down to find another (much worse) tale of the NICU, and a post about jarring animal cruelty followed by a post (with – PICTURES – GODS, NO PICTURES) of horrifying animal cruelty, I want to quit all social media forever.

Maybe that’s your goal? But if you dump me, you miss out on all the likes, loves, follow-backs, follow pages, etc. I offer. I mean, it’s not like you read my posts, anyway, so how am I hurting you?
There’s enough negativity in the world. Share something positive.
