Turn It Off and Let It Go

That’s my motto for the day :Turn it off and let it go.

I’m going to make coffee, grab my notebook and my journal, and write longhand today.

I’m turning off my computer. Logging out of Facebook. Leaving my cell phone plugged in.

I’m going to listen to music on the 800 channels instead of Amazon Prime.

I’m going to forget about work last week, and next week. I’m going to pretend this is my job. If I actually want this job, I need to finish it. I need to write this short story. It needs to have tension and conflict. The happy ending needs to mean something.

I can do that.
