Zucchini Week

Upside to visiting my parents after the derecho: My mom sent me home with a bucket of zucchini. I love zucchini, but Lemur does not, unless it's baked into chocolate bread. He says it's the seeds. I say it's the lack of chocolate. We agree to disagree.
I've eaten half of the zucchini over the past week. This afternoon, I sliced the remaining vegetables, ready to be tossed into the microwave at a moment's notice and tossed in with my pasta and sauce or vegetable medley. I've eaten so much zucchini over the past week, you'd think I'd be sick of it, but I can't wait to have more tonight.

I proofed "The Arena" this weekend and sent it to be beta-ed. If you're interested in reading for nonbinary and trans rep, please let me know - the more the merrier!
This week, I'm reading another writing craft book and getting my steps inside to avoid the heat and humidity. If you're in a part of the U.S. that's on fire or about to get hit by back-to-back hurricanes, I'm working on my weather-witch skills. Do you know any spells with a zucchini component? Seriously, though, stay safe. Sending all the good vibes your way.
